Nick Stroupe

AED Competition driver Nick Stroupe out of the Stroupe Brothers Racing camp ran a pair of UMP races in Kentucky. The first was at 191 Speedway in Campton, KY. This would be Nick's first trip to the tricky quarter-mile but he adapted quickly and qualified seventh in the stacked twenty-five car field. When the green flag dropped, he started slowing picking off cars and battled his way to fourth before the checkered flag dropped. The team was pleased with the finish but knew they had more in them.

On Saturday, the team traveled to Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY. This would be another new track to Nick but after some small changes to the car, he would go out and win the heat race. Nick would line up on the outside pole and battle hard throughout the race. When the checkered flag dropped, it was the "Iron Station Sensation" picking up his sixth win of 2013.
